11:1主はまたモーセとアロンに言われた、11:1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them,

11:3獣のうち、すべてひずめの分かれたもの、すなわち、ひずめの全く切れたもの、反芻するものは、これを食べることができる。11:3 Whatever parts the hoof, and is cloven-footed, and chews the cud among the animals, that you may eat.
11:4ただし、反芻するもの、またはひずめの分かれたもののうち、次のものは食べてはならない。すなわち、らくだ、これは、反芻するけれども、ひずめが分かれていないから、あなたがたには汚れたものである。11:4 “‘Nevertheless these you shall not eat of those that chew the cud, or of those who part the hoof: the camel, because he chews the cud but doesn’t have a parted hoof, he is unclean to you.

11:7豚、これは、ひずめが分かれており、ひずめが全く切れているけれども、反芻することをしないから、あなたがたには汚れたものである。11:7 The pig, because he has a split hoof, and is cloven-footed, but doesn’t chew the cud, he is unclean to you.
11:8あなたがたは、これらのものの肉を食べてはならない。またその死体に触れてはならない。これらは、あなたがたには汚れたものである。11:8 Of their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch; they are unclean to you.
11:9水の中にいるすべてのもののうち、あなたがたの食べることができるものは次のとおりである。すなわち、海でも、川でも、すべて水の中にいるもので、ひれと、うろこのあるものは、これを食べることができる。11:9 “‘These you may eat of all that are in the waters: whatever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, that you may eat.
11:10すべて水に群がるもの、またすべての水の中にいる生き物のうち、すなわち、すべて海、また川にいて、ひれとうろこのないものは、あなたがたに忌むべきものである。11:10 All that don’t have fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of all the living creatures that are in the waters, they are an abomination to you,
11:11これらはあなたがたに忌むべきものであるから、あなたがたはその肉を食べてはならない。またその死体は忌むべきものとしなければならない。11:11 and you detest them. You shall not eat of their flesh, and you shall detest their carcasses.
11:12すべて水の中にいて、ひれも、うろこもないものは、あなたがたに忌むべきものである。11:12 Whatever has no fins nor scales in the waters, that is an abomination to you.

11:19こうのとり、さぎの類、やつがしら、こうもり。11:19 the stork, any kind of heron, the hoopoe, and the bat.
11:20また羽があって四つの足で歩くすべての這うものは、あなたがたに忌むべきものである。11:20 “‘All flying insects that walk on all fours are an abomination to you.
11:21ただし、羽があって四つの足で歩くすべての這うもののうち、その足のうえに、跳ね足があり、それで地の上をはねるものは食べることができる。11:21 Yet you may eat these: of all winged creeping things that go on all fours, which have legs above their feet, with which to hop on the earth.
11:22すなわち、そのうち次のものは食べることができる。移住いなごの類、遍歴いなごの類、大いなごの類、小いなごの類である。11:22 Even of these you may eat: any kind of locust, any kind of katydid, any kind of cricket, and any kind of grasshopper.
11:23しかし、羽があって四つの足で歩く、そのほかのすべての這うものは、あなたがたに忌むべきものである。11:23 But all winged creeping things which have four feet, are an abomination to you.
11:24あなたがたは次の場合に汚れたものとなる。すなわち、すべてこれらのものの死体に触れる者は夕まで汚れる。11:24 “‘By these you will become unclean: whoever touches their carcass shall be unclean until the evening.
11:25すべてこれらのものの死体を運ぶ者は、その衣服を洗わなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れる。11:25 Whoever carries any part of their carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.
11:26すべて、ひずめの分かれた獣で、その切れ目の切れていないもの、また、反芻することをしないものは、あなたがたに汚れたものである。すべて、これに触れる者は汚れる。11:26 “‘Every animal which parts the hoof, and is not cloven-footed, nor chews the cud, is unclean to you. Everyone who touches them shall be unclean.
11:27すべて四つの足で歩く獣のうち、その足の裏のふくらみで歩くものは皆あなたがたに汚れたものである。すべてその死体に触れる者は夕まで汚れる。11:27 Whatever goes on its paws, among all animals that go on all fours, they are unclean to you. Whoever touches their carcass shall be unclean until the evening.
11:28その死体を運ぶ者は、その衣服を洗わなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れる。これは、あなたがたに汚れたものである。11:28 He who carries their carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. They are unclean to you.

11:32またそれらのものが死んで、それが落ちかかった物はすべて汚れる。木の器であれ、衣服であれ、皮であれ、袋であれ、およそ仕事に使う器はそれを水に入れなければならない。それは夕まで汚れているが、そののち清くなる。11:32 On whatever any of them falls when they are dead, it shall be unclean; whether it is any vessel of wood, or clothing, or skin, or sack, whatever vessel it is, with which any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the evening; then it will be clean.
11:33またそれらのものが、土の器の中に落ちたならば、その中にあるものは皆汚れる。あなたがたはその器をこわさなければならない。11:33 Every earthen vessel, into which any of them falls, all that is in it shall be unclean, and you shall break it.
11:34またすべてその中にある食物で、水分のあるものは汚れる。またすべてそのような器の中にある飲み物も皆汚れる。11:34 All food which may be eaten, that on which water comes, shall be unclean; and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.
11:35またそれらのものの死体が落ちかかったならば、その物はすべて汚れる。天火であれ、かまどであれ、それをこわさなければならない。これらは汚れたもので、あなたがたに汚れたものとなる。11:35 Everything whereupon part of their carcass falls shall be unclean; whether oven, or range for pots, it shall be broken in pieces: they are unclean, and shall be unclean to you.
11:36ただし、泉、あるいは水の集まった水たまりは汚れない。しかし、その死体に触れる者は汚れる。11:36 Nevertheless a spring or a cistern in which water is a gathered shall be clean: but that which touches their carcass shall be unclean.
11:37それらのものの死体が、まく種の上に落ちても、それは汚れない。11:37 If part of their carcass falls on any sowing seed which is to be sown, it is clean.
11:38ただし、種の上に水がかかっていて、その上にそれらのものの死体が、落ちるならば、それはあなたがたに汚れたものとなる。11:38 But if water is put on the seed, and part of their carcass falls on it, it is unclean to you.
11:39あなたがたの食べる獣が死んだ時、その死体に触れる者は夕まで汚れる。11:39 “‘If any animal, of which you may eat, dies; he who touches its carcass shall be unclean until the evening.

11:41すべて地にはう這うものは忌むべきものである。これを食べてはならない。11:41 “‘Every creeping thing that creeps on the earth is an abomination. It shall not be eaten.
11:42すべて腹ばい行くもの、四つ足で歩くもの、あるいは多くの足をもつもの、すなわち、すべて地にはう這うものは、あなたがたはこれを食べてはならない。それらは忌むべきものだからである。11:42 Whatever goes on its belly, and whatever goes on all fours, or whatever has many feet, even all creeping things that creep on the earth, them you shall not eat; for they are an abomination.
11:43あなたがたはすべて這うものによって、あなたがたの身を忌むべきものとしてはならない。また、これをもって身を汚し、あるいはこれによって汚されてはならない。11:43 You shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creeps, neither shall you make yourselves unclean with them, that you should be defiled thereby.
11:44わたしはあなたがたの神、主であるから、あなたがたはおのれを聖別し、聖なる者とならなければならない。わたしは聖なる者である。地にはう這うものによって、あなたがたの身を汚してはならない。11:44 For I am Yahweh your God. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am holy: neither shall you defile yourselves with any kind of creeping thing that moves on the earth.
11:45わたしはあなたがたの神となるため、あなたがたをエジプトの国から導き上った主である。わたしは聖なる者であるから、あなたがたは聖なる者とならなければならない』」。11:45 For I am Yahweh who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
11:46これは獣と鳥と、水の中に動くすべての生き物と、地に這うすべてのものに関するおきてであって、11:46 “‘This is the law of the animal, and of the bird, and of every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps on the earth,
11:47汚れたものと清いもの、食べられる生き物と、食べられない生き物とを区別するものである。11:47 to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.'”
12:1主はまたモーセに言われた、12:1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
12:2「イスラエルの人々に言いなさい、『女がもし身ごもって男の子を産めば、七日のあいだ汚れる。すなわち、月のさわりの日かずほど汚れるであろう。12:2 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If a woman conceives, and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her monthly period she shall be unclean.
12:3八日目にはその子の前の皮に割礼を施さなければならない。12:3 In the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
12:4その女はなお、血の清めに三十三日を経なければならない。その清めの日の満ちるまでは、聖なる物に触れてはならない。また聖なる所にはいってはならない。12:4 She shall continue in the blood of purification thirty-three days. She shall not touch any holy thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying are completed.
12:5もし女の子を産めば、二週間、月のさわりと同じように汚れる。その女はなお、血の清めに六十六日を経なければならない。12:5 But if she bears a female child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her period; and she shall continue in the blood of purification sixty-six days.
12:6男の子または女の子についての清めの日が満ちるとき、女は燔祭のために一歳の小羊、罪祭のために家ばとのひな、あるいは山ばとを、会見の幕屋の入口の、祭司のもとに、携えてこなければならない。12:6 “‘When the days of her purification are completed, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring to the priest at the door of the Tent of Meeting, a year old lamb for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering:
12:7祭司はこれを主の前にささげて、その女のために、あがないをしなければならない。こうして女はその出血の汚れが清まるであろう。これは男の子または女の子を産んだ女のためのおきてである。12:7 and he shall offer it before Yahweh, and make atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the fountain of her blood. “‘This is the law for her who bears, whether a male or a female.
12:8もしその女が小羊に手の届かないときは、山ばと二羽か、家ばとのひな二羽かを取って、一つを燔祭、一つを罪祭とし、祭司はその女のために、あがないをしなければならない。こうして女は清まるであろう』」。12:8 If she cannot afford a lamb, then she shall take two turtledoves, or two young pigeons; the one for a burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make atonement for her, and she shall be clean.'”
13:1主はまたモーセとアロンに言われた、13:1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
13:2「人がその身の皮に腫、あるいは吹出物、あるいは光る所ができ、これがその身の皮にらい病の患部のようになるならば、その人を祭司アロンまたは、祭司なるアロンの子たちのひとりのもとに、連れて行かなければならない。13:2 “When a man shall have a rising in his body’s skin, or a scab, or a bright spot, and it becomes in the skin of his body the plague of leprosy, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest, or to one of his sons, the priests:
13:3祭司はその身の皮の患部を見、その患部の毛がもし白く変り、かつ患部が、その身の皮よりも深く見えるならば、それはらい病の患部である。祭司は彼を見て、これを汚れた者としなければならない。13:3 and the priest shall examine the plague in the skin of the body: and if the hair in the plague has turned white, and the appearance of the plague is deeper than the body’s skin, it is the plague of leprosy; and the priest shall examine him, and pronounce him unclean.
13:4もしまたその身の皮の光る所が白くて、皮よりも深く見えず、また毛も白く変っていないならば、祭司はその患者を七日のあいだ留め置かなければならない。13:4 If the bright spot is white in the skin of his body, and its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, and its hair hasn’t turned white, then the priest shall isolate the infected person for seven days.
13:5七日目に祭司はこれを見て、もし患部の様子に変りがなく、また患部が皮に広がっていないならば、祭司はその人をさらに七日のあいだ留め置かなければならない。13:5 The priest shall examine him on the seventh day, and, behold, if in his eyes the plague is arrested, and the plague hasn’t spread in the skin, then the priest shall isolate him for seven more days.
13:6七日目に祭司は再びその人を見て、患部がもし薄らぎ、また患部が皮に広がっていないならば、祭司はこれを清い者としなければならない。これは吹出物である。その人は衣服を洗わなければならない。そして清くなるであろう。13:6 The priest shall examine him again on the seventh day; and behold, if the plague has faded, and the plague hasn’t spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. It is a scab. He shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
13:7しかし、その人が祭司に見せて清い者とされた後に、その吹出物が皮に広くひろがるならば、再び祭司にその身を見せなければならない。13:7 But if the scab spreads on the skin, after he has shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall show himself to the priest again.
13:8祭司はこれを見て、その吹出物が皮に広がっているならば、祭司はその人を汚れた者としなければならない。これはらい病である。13:8 The priest shall examine him; and behold, if the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is leprosy.
13:9もし人にらい病の患部があるならば、その人を祭司のもとに連れて行かなければならない。13:9 “When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought to the priest;
13:10祭司がこれを見て、その皮に白い腫があり、その毛も白く変り、かつその腫に生きた生肉が見えるならば、13:10 and the priest shall examine him. Behold, if there is a white rising in the skin, and it has turned the hair white, and there is raw flesh in the rising,
13:11これは古いらい病がその身の皮にあるのであるから、祭司はその人を汚れた者としなければならない。その人は汚れた者であるから、これを留め置くに及ばない。13:11 it is a chronic leprosy in the skin of his body, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. He shall not isolate him, for he is unclean.
13:12もしらい病が広く皮に出て、そのらい病が、その患者の皮を頭から足まで、ことごとくおおい、祭司の見るところすべてに及んでおれば、13:12 “If the leprosy breaks out all over the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of the infected person from his head even to his feet, as far as it appears to the priest;
13:13祭司はこれを見、もしらい病がその身をことごとくおおっておれば、その患者を清い者としなければならない。それはことごとく白く変ったから、彼は清い者である。13:13 then the priest shall examine him; and, behold, if the leprosy has covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean of the plague. It has all turned white: he is clean.
13:14しかし、もし生肉がその人に現れておれば、汚れた者である。13:14 But whenever raw flesh appears in him, he shall be unclean.
13:15祭司はその生肉を見て、その人を汚れた者としなければならない。生肉は汚れたものであって、それはらい病である。13:15 The priest shall examine the raw flesh, and pronounce him unclean: the raw flesh is unclean. It is leprosy.
13:16もしまたその生肉が再び白く変るならば、その人は祭司のもとに行かなければならない。13:16 Or if the raw flesh turns again, and is changed to white, then he shall come to the priest;
13:17祭司はその人を見て、もしその患部が白く変っておれば、祭司はその患者を清い者としなければならない。その人は清い者である。13:17 and the priest shall examine him; and, behold, if the plague has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him clean of the plague. He is clean.
13:18また身の皮に腫物があったが、直って、13:18 “When the body has a boil on its skin, and it has healed,
13:19その腫物の場所に白い腫、または赤みをおびた白い光る所があれば、これを祭司に見せなければならない。13:19 and in the place of the boil there is a white rising, or a bright spot, reddish-white, then it shall be shown to the priest;
13:20祭司はこれを見て、もし皮よりも低く見え、その毛が白く変っていれば、祭司はその人を汚れた者としなければならない。それは腫物に起ったらい病の患部だからである。13:20 and the priest shall examine it; and behold, if its appearance is lower than the skin, and its hair has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy. It has broken out in the boil.
13:21しかし、祭司がこれを見て、もしその所に白い毛がなく、また皮よりも低い所がなく、かえって薄らいでいるならば、祭司はその人を七日のあいだ留め置かなければならない。13:21 But if the priest examines it, and behold, there are no white hairs in it, and it isn’t deeper than the skin, but is dim, then the priest shall isolate him seven days.
13:22そしてもし皮に広くひろがっているならば、祭司はその人を汚れた者としなければならない。それは患部だからである。13:22 If it spreads in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is a plague.
13:23しかし、その光る所がもしその所にとどまって広がらなければ、それは腫物の跡である。祭司はその人を清い者としなければならない。13:23 But if the bright spot stays in its place, and hasn’t spread, it is the scar from the boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
13:24また身の皮にやけどがあって、そのやけどの生きた肉がもし赤みをおびた白、または、ただ白くて光る所となるならば、13:24 “Or when the body has a burn from fire on its skin, and the raw flesh of the burn becomes a bright spot, reddish-white, or white,
13:25祭司はこれを見なければならない。そしてもし、その光る所にある毛が白く変って、そこが皮よりも深く見えるならば、これはやけどに生じたらい病である。祭司はその人を汚れた者としなければならない。これはらい病の患部だからである。13:25 then the priest shall examine it; and behold, if the hair in the bright spot has turned white, and its appearance is deeper than the skin; it is leprosy. It has broken out in the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy.
13:26けれども祭司がこれを見て、その光る所に白い毛がなく、また皮よりも低い所がなく、かえって薄らいでいるならば、祭司はその人を七日のあいだ留め置き、13:26 But if the priest examines it, and behold, there is no white hair in the bright spot, and it isn’t lower than the skin, but is faded; then the priest shall isolate him seven days.
13:27七日目に祭司は彼を見なければならない。もし皮に広くひろがっているならば、祭司はその人を汚れた者としなければならない。これはらい病の患部だからである。13:27 The priest shall examine him on the seventh day. If it has spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy.
13:28もしその光る所が、その所にとどまって、皮に広がらずに、かえって薄らいでいるならば、これはやけどの腫である。祭司はその人を清い者としなければならない。これはやけどの跡だからである。13:28 If the bright spot stays in its place, and hasn’t spread in the skin, but is faded, it is the swelling from the burn, and the priest shall pronounce him clean; for it is the scar from the burn.
13:29男あるいは女がもし、頭またはあごに患部が生じたならば、13:29 “When a man or woman has a plague on the head or on the beard,
13:30祭司はその患部を見なければならない。もしそれが皮よりも深く見え、またそこに黄色の細い毛があるならば、祭司はその人を汚れた者としなければならない。それはかいせんであって、頭またはあごのらい病だからである。13:30 then the priest shall examine the plague; and behold, if its appearance is deeper than the skin, and the hair in it is yellow and thin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is an itch, it is leprosy of the head or of the beard.
13:31また祭司がそのかいせんの患部を見て、もしそれが皮よりも深く見えず、またそこに黒い毛がないならば、祭司はそのかいせんの患者を七日のあいだ留め置き、13:31 If the priest examines the plague of itching, and behold, its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, and there is no black hair in it, then the priest shall isolate him the person infected with itching seven days.
13:32七日目に祭司はその患部を見なければならない。そのかいせんがもし広がらず、またそこに黄色の毛がなく、そのかいせんが皮よりも深く見えないならば、13:32 On the seventh day the priest shall examine the plague; and behold, if the itch hasn’t spread, and there is no yellow hair in it, and the appearance of the itch isn’t deeper than the skin,
13:33その人は身をそらなければならない。ただし、そのかいせんをそってはならない。祭司はそのかいせんのある者をさらに七日のあいだ留め置き、13:33 then he shall be shaved, but he shall not shave the itch; and the priest shall shut him up who has the itch seven more days.
13:34七日目に祭司はそのかいせんを見なければならない。もしそのかいせんが皮に広がらず、またそれが皮よりも深く見えないならば、祭司はその人を清い者としなければならない。その人はまたその衣服を洗わなければならない。そして清くなるであろう。13:34 On the seventh day, the priest shall examine the itch; and behold, if the itch hasn’t spread in the skin, and its appearance isn’t deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. He shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
13:35しかし、もし彼が清い者とされた後に、そのかいせんが、皮に広くひろがるならば、13:35 But if the itch spreads in the skin after his cleansing,
13:36祭司はその人を見なければならない。もしそのかいせんが皮に広がっているならば、祭司は黄色の毛を捜すまでもなく、その人は汚れた者である。13:36 then the priest shall examine him; and behold, if the itch has spread in the skin, the priest shall not look for the yellow hair; he is unclean.
13:37しかし、もしそのかいせんの様子に変りなく、そこに黒い毛が生じているならば、そのかいせんは直ったので、その人は清い。祭司はその人を清い者としなければならない。13:37 But if in his eyes the itch is arrested, and black hair has grown in it; the itch is healed, he is clean. The priest shall pronounce him clean.
13:38また男あるいは女がもし、その身の皮に光る所、すなわち白い光る所があるならば、13:38 “When a man or a woman has bright spots in the skin of the body, even white bright spots;
13:39祭司はこれを見なければならない。もしその身の皮の光る所が、鈍い白であるならば、これはただ白せんがその皮に生じたのであって、その人は清い。13:39 then the priest shall examine them; and behold, if the bright spots on the skin of their body are a dull white, it is a harmless rash, it has broken out in the skin; he is clean.
13:40人がもしその頭から毛が抜け落ちても、それがはげならば清い。13:40 “If a man’s hair has fallen from his head, he is bald. He is clean.
13:41もしその額の毛が抜け落ちても、それが額のはげならば清い。13:41 If his hair has fallen off from the front part of his head, he is forehead bald. He is clean.
13:42けれども、もしそのはげ頭または、はげ額に赤みをおびた白い患部があるならば、それはそのはげ頭または、はげ額にらい病が発したのである。13:42 But if there is in the bald head, or the bald forehead, a reddish-white plague; it is leprosy breaking out in his bald head, or his bald forehead.
13:43祭司はこれを見なければならない。もしそのはげ頭または、はげ額の患部の腫が白く赤みをおびて、身の皮にらい病があらわれているならば、13:43 Then the priest shall examine him; and, behold, if the rising of the plague is reddish-white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, like the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the flesh,
13:44その人はらい病に冒された者であって、汚れた者である。祭司はその人を確かに汚れた者としなければならない。患部が頭にあるからである。13:44 he is a leprous man. He is unclean. The priest shall surely pronounce him unclean. His plague is on his head.
13:45患部のあるらい病人は、その衣服を裂き、その頭を現し、その口ひげをおおって『汚れた者、汚れた者』と呼ばわらなければならない。13:45 “The leper in whom the plague is shall wear torn clothes, and the hair of his head shall hang loose. He shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’

13:47また衣服にらい病の患部が生じた時は、それが羊毛の衣服であれ、亜麻の衣服であれ、13:47 “The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it is a woolen garment, or a linen garment;
13:48あるいは亜麻または羊毛の縦糸であれ、横糸であれ、あるいは皮であれ、皮で作ったどのような物であれ、13:48 whether it is in warp, or woof; of linen, or of wool; whether in a skin, or in anything made of skin;
13:49もしその衣服あるいは皮、あるいは縦糸、あるいは横糸、あるいは皮で作ったどのような物であれ、その患部が青みをおびているか、あるいは赤みをおびているならば、これはらい病の患部である。これを祭司に見せなければならない。13:49 if the plague is greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything made of skin; it is the plague of leprosy, and shall be shown to the priest.
13:50祭司はその患部を見て、その患部のある物を七日のあいだ留め置き、13:50 The priest shall examine the plague, and isolate the plague seven days.
13:51七日目に患部を見て、もしその衣服、あるいは縦糸、あるいは横糸、あるいは皮、またどのように用いられている皮であれ、患部が広がっているならば、その患部は悪性のらい病であって、それは汚れた物である。13:51 He shall examine the plague on the seventh day. If the plague has spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, whatever use the skin is used for, the plague is a destructive mildew. It is unclean.
13:52彼はその患部のある衣服、あるいは羊毛、または亜麻の縦糸、または横糸、あるいはすべて皮で作った物を焼かなければならない。これは悪性のらい病であるから、その物を火で焼かなければならない。13:52 He shall burn the garment, whether the warp or the woof, in wool or in linen, or anything of skin, in which the plague is: for it is a destructive mildew. It shall be burned in the fire.
13:53しかし、祭司がこれを見て、もし患部がその衣服、あるいは縦糸、あるいは横糸、あるいはすべて皮で作った物に広がっていないならば、13:53 “If the priest examines it, and behold, the plague hasn’t spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin;
13:54祭司は命じて、その患部のある物を洗わせ、さらに七日の間これを留め置かなければならない。13:54 then the priest shall command that they wash the thing in which the plague is, and he shall isolate it seven more days.
13:55そしてその患部を洗った後、祭司はそれを見て、もし患部の色が変らなければ、患部が広がらなくても、それは汚れた物である。それが表にあっても裏にあっても腐れであるから、それを火で焼かなければならない。13:55 Then the priest shall examine it, after the plague is washed; and behold, if the plague hasn’t changed its color, and the plague hasn’t spread, it is unclean; you shall burn it in the fire. It is a mildewed spot, whether the bareness is inside or outside.
13:56しかし、祭司がこれを見て、それを洗った後に、その患部が薄らいだならば、その衣服、あるいは皮、あるいは縦糸、あるいは横糸から、それを切り取らなければならない。13:56 If the priest looks, and behold, the plague has faded after it is washed, then he shall tear it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:

13:58また洗った衣服、あるいは縦糸、あるいは横糸、あるいはすべて皮で作った物から、患部が消え去るならば、再びそれを洗わなければならない。そうすれば清くなるであろう」。13:58 The garment, either the warp, or the woof, or whatever thing of skin it is, which you shall wash, if the plague has departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and it will be clean.”
13:59これは羊毛または亜麻の衣服、あるいは縦糸、あるいは横糸、あるいはすべて皮で作った物に生じるらい病の患部について、それを清い物とし、または汚れた物とするためのおきてである。13:59 This is the law of the plague of mildew in a garment of wool or linen, either in the warp, or the woof, or in anything of skin, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
14:1主はまたモーセに言われた、14:1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
14:2「らい病人が清い者とされる時のおきては次のとおりである。すなわち、その人を祭司のもとに連れて行き、14:2 “This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing. He shall be brought to the priest,
14:3祭司は宿営の外に出て行って、その人を見、もしらい病の患部がいえているならば、14:3 and the priest shall go forth out of the camp. The priest shall examine him, and behold, if the plague of leprosy is healed in the leper,
14:4祭司は命じてその清められる者のために、生きている清い小鳥二羽と、香柏の木と、緋の糸と、ヒソプとを取ってこさせ、14:4 then the priest shall command them to take for him who is to be cleansed two living clean birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.
14:5祭司はまた命じて、その小鳥の一羽を、流れ水を盛った土の器の上で殺させ、14:5 The priest shall command them to kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.
14:6そして生きている小鳥を、香柏の木と、緋の糸と、ヒソプと共に取って、これをかの流れ水を盛った土の器の上で殺した小鳥の血に、その生きている小鳥と共に浸し、14:6 As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water.
14:7これをらい病から清められる者に七たび注いで、その人を清い者とし、その生きている小鳥は野に放たなければならない。14:7 He shall sprinkle on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird go into the open field.
14:8清められる者はその衣服を洗い、毛をことごとくそり落し、水に身をすすいで清くなり、その後、宿営にはいることができる。ただし七日の間はその天幕の外にいなければならない。14:8 “He who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water; and he shall be clean. After that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days.
14:9そして七日目に毛をことごとくそらなければならい。頭の毛も、ひげも、まゆも、ことごとくそらなければならない。彼はその衣服を洗い、水に身をすすいで清くなるであろう。14:9 It shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off. He shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his body in water, then he shall be clean.
14:10八日目にその人は雄の小羊の全きもの二頭と、一歳の雌の小羊の全きもの一頭とを取り、また麦粉十分の三エパに油を混ぜた素祭と、油一ログとを取らなければならない。14:10 “On the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish, and three tenths of an ephah {1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel} of fine flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.
14:11清めをなす祭司は、清められる人とこれらの物とを、会見の幕屋の入口で主の前に置き、14:11 The priest who cleanses him shall set the man who is to be cleansed, and those things, before Yahweh, at the door of the Tent of Meeting.
14:12祭司は、かの雄の小羊一頭を取って、これを一ログの油と共に愆祭としてささげ、またこれを主の前に揺り動かして揺祭としなければならない。14:12 “The priest shall take one of the male lambs, and offer him for a trespass offering, with the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.
14:13この雄の小羊は罪祭および燔祭をほふる場所、すなわち聖なる所で、これをほふらなければならない。愆祭は罪祭と同じく、祭司に帰するものであって、いと聖なる物である。14:13 He shall kill the male lamb in the place where they kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the place of the sanctuary; for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the trespass offering. It is most holy.
14:14そして祭司はその愆祭の血を取り、これを清められる者の右の耳たぶと、右の手の親指と、右の足の親指とにつけなければならない。14:14 The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
14:15祭司はまた一ログの油を取って、これを自分の左の手のひらに注ぎ、14:15 The priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand.
14:16そして祭司は右の指を左の手のひらにある油に浸し、その指をもって、その油を七たび主の前に注がなければならない。14:16 The priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle some of the oil with his finger seven times before Yahweh.
14:17祭司は手のひらにある油の残りを、清められる者の右の耳たぶと、右の手の親指と、右の足の親指とに、さきにつけた愆祭の血の上につけなければならない。14:17 The priest shall put some of the rest of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering.
14:18そして祭司は手のひらになお残っている油を、清められる者の頭につけ、主の前で、その人のためにあがないをしなければならない。14:18 The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, and the priest shall make atonement for him before Yahweh.
14:19また祭司は罪祭をささげて、汚れのゆえに、清められねばならぬ者のためにあがないをし、その後、燔祭のものをほふらなければならない。14:19 “The priest shall offer the sin offering, and make atonement for him who is to be cleansed because of his uncleanness: and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering;
14:20そして祭司は燔祭と素祭とを祭壇の上にささげ、その人のために、あがないをしなければならない。こうしてその人は清くなるであろう。14:20 and the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meal offering on the altar. The priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.
14:21その人がもし貧しくて、それに手の届かない時は、自分のあがないのために揺り動かす愆祭として、雄の小羊一頭を取り、また素祭として油を混ぜた麦粉十分の一エパと、油一ログとを取り、14:21 “If he is poor, and can’t afford so much, then he shall take one male lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and one tenth of an ephah of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal offering, and a log of oil;
14:22さらにその手の届く山ばと二羽、または家ばとのひな二羽を取らなければならない。その一つは罪祭のため、他の一つは燔祭のためである。14:22 and two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to afford; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.
14:23そして八日目に、その清めのために会見の幕屋の入口におる祭司のもと、主の前にこれを携えて行かなければならない。14:23 “On the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, before Yahweh.
14:24祭司はその愆祭の雄の小羊と、一ログの油とを取り、これを主の前に揺り動かして揺祭としなければならない。14:24 The priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh.
14:25そして祭司は愆祭の雄の小羊をほふり、その愆祭の血を取って、これを清められる者の右の耳たぶと、右の手の親指と、右の足の親指とにつけなければならない。14:25 He shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering. The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering and put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
14:26また祭司はその油を自分の左の手のひらに注ぎ、14:26 The priest shall pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand;
14:27祭司はその右の指をもって、左の手のひらにある油を、七たび主の前に注がなければならない。14:27 and the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before Yahweh.
14:28また祭司はその手のひらにある油を、清められる者の右の耳たぶと、右の手の親指と、右の足の親指とに、すなわち、愆祭の血をつけたところにつけなければならない。14:28 Then the priest shall put some of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the trespass offering.
14:29また祭司は手のひらに残っている油を、清められる者の頭につけ、主の前で、その人のために、あがないをしなければならない。14:29 The rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before Yahweh.
14:30その人はその手の届く山ばと一羽、または家ばとのひな一羽をささげなければならない。14:30 He shall offer one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he is able to afford,
14:31すなわち、その手の届くものの一つを罪祭とし、他の一つを燔祭として素祭と共にささげなければならない。こうして祭司は清められる者のために、主の前にあがないをするであろう。14:31 even such as he is able to afford, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meal offering. The priest shall make atonement for him who is to be cleansed before Yahweh.”
14:32これはらい病の患者で、その清めに必要なものに、手の届かない者のためのおきてである」。14:32 This is the law for him in whom is the plague of leprosy, who is not able to afford the sacrifice for his cleansing.
14:33主はまたモーセとアロンに言われた、14:33 Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
14:34「あなたがたに所有として与えるカナンの地に、あなたがたがはいる時、その所有の地において、家にわたしがらい病の患部を生じさせることがあれば、14:34 “When you have come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put a spreading mildew in a house in the land of your possession,
14:35その家の持ち主はきて、祭司に告げ、『患部のようなものが、わたしの家にあります』と言わなければならない。14:35 then he who owns the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, ‘There seems to me to be some sort of plague in the house.’
14:36祭司は命じて、祭司がその患部を見に行く前に、その家をあけさせ、その家にあるすべての物が汚されないようにし、その後、祭司は、はいってその家を見なければならない。14:36 The priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest goes in to examine the plague, that all that is in the house not be made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to inspect the house.
14:37その患部を見て、もしその患部が家の壁にあって、青または赤のくぼみをもち、それが壁よりも低く見えるならば、14:37 He shall examine the plague; and behold, if the plague is in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, and it appears to be deeper than the wall;
14:38祭司はその家を出て、家の入口にいたり、七日の間その家を閉鎖しなければならない。14:38 then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days.
14:39祭司は七日目に、またきてそれを見、その患部がもし家の壁に広がっているならば、14:39 The priest shall come again on the seventh day, and look. If the plague has spread in the walls of the house,
14:40祭司は命じて、その患部のある石を取り出し、町の外の汚れた物を捨てる場所に捨てさせ、14:40 then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which is the plague, and cast them into an unclean place outside of the city:
14:41またその家の内側のまわりを削らせ、その削ったしっくいを町の外の汚れた物を捨てる場所に捨てさせ、14:41 and he shall cause the inside of the house to be scraped all over, and they shall pour out the mortar, that they scraped off, outside of the city into an unclean place.
14:42ほかの石を取って、元の石のところに入れさせ、またほかのしっくいを取って、家を塗らせなければならない。14:42 They shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other mortar, and shall plaster the house.
14:43このように石を取り出し、家を削り、塗りかえた後に、その患部がもし再び家に出るならば、14:43 “If the plague comes again, and breaks out in the house, after he has taken out the stones, and after he has scraped the house, and after it was plastered;
14:44祭司はまたきて見なければならない。患部がもし家に広がっているならば、これは家にある悪性のらい病であって、これは汚れた物である。14:44 then the priest shall come in and look; and behold, if the plague has spread in the house, it is a destructive mildew in the house. It is unclean.
14:45その家は、こぼち、その石、その木、その家のしっくいは、ことごとく町の外の汚れた物を捨てる場所に運び出さなければならない。14:45 He shall break down the house, its stones, and its timber, and all the house’s mortar. He shall carry them out of the city into an unclean place.
14:46その家が閉鎖されている日の間に、これにはいる者は夕まで汚れるであろう。14:46 “Moreover he who goes into the house while it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening.
14:47その家に寝る者はその衣服を洗わなければならない。その家で食する者も、その衣服を洗わなければならない。14:47 He who lies down in the house shall wash his clothes; and he who eats in the house shall wash his clothes.
14:48しかし、祭司がはいって見て、もし家を塗りかえた後に、その患部が家に広がっていなければ、これはその患部がいえたのであるから、祭司はその家を清いものとしなければならない。14:48 “If the priest shall come in, and examine it, and behold, the plague hasn’t spread in the house, after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.
14:49また彼はその家を清めるために、小鳥二羽と、香柏の木と、緋の糸と、ヒソプとを取り、14:49 To cleanse the house he shall take two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.
14:50その小鳥の一羽を流れ水を盛った土の器の上で殺し、14:50 He shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.
14:51香柏の木と、ヒソプと、緋の糸と、生きている小鳥とを取って、その殺した小鳥の血と流れ水に浸し、これを七たび家に注がなければならない。14:51 He shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times.
14:52こうして祭司は小鳥の血と流れ水と、生きている小鳥と、香柏の木と、ヒソプと、緋の糸とをもって家を清め、14:52 He shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, with the living bird, with the cedar wood, with the hyssop, and with the scarlet;
14:53その生きている小鳥は町の外の野に放して、その家のために、あがないをしなければならない。こうして、それは清くなるであろう」。14:53 but he shall let the living bird go out of the city into the open field. So shall he make atonement for the house; and it shall be clean.”
14:54これはらい病のすべての患部、かいせん、14:54 This is the law for any plague of leprosy, and for an itch,
14:55および衣服と家のらい病、14:55 and for the destructive mildew of a garment, and for a house,
14:56ならびに腫と、吹出物と、光る所とに関するおきてであって、14:56 and for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot;
14:57いつそれが汚れているか、いつそれが清いかを教えるものである。これがらい病に関するおきてである。14:57 to teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean. This is the law of leprosy.
15:1主はまた、モーセとアロンに言われた、15:1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
15:2「イスラエルの人々に言いなさい、『だれでもその肉に流出があれば、その流出は汚れである。15:2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When any man has a discharge from his body, because of his discharge he is unclean.
15:3その流出による汚れは次のとおりである。すなわち、その肉の流出が続いていても、あるいは、その肉の流出が止まっていても、共に汚れである。15:3 This shall be his uncleanness in his discharge: whether his body runs with his discharge, or his body has stopped from his discharge, it is his uncleanness.
15:4流出ある者の寝た床はすべて汚れる。またその人のすわった物はすべて汚れるであろう。15:4 “‘Every bed whereon he who has the discharge lies shall be unclean; and everything he sits on shall be unclean.
15:5その床に触れる者は、その衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。15:5 Whoever touches his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.
15:6流出ある者のすわった物の上にすわる者は、その衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。15:6 He who sits on anything whereon the man who has the discharge sat shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.
15:7流出ある者の肉に触れる者は衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。15:7 “‘He who touches the body of him who has the discharge shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.
15:8流出ある者のつばきが、清い者にかかったならば、その人は衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。15:8 “‘If he who has the discharge spits on him who is clean, then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.
15:9流出ある者の乗った鞍はすべて汚れる。15:9 “‘Whatever saddle he who has the discharge rides on shall be unclean.
15:10また彼の下になった物に触れる者は、すべて夕まで汚れるであろう。またそれらの物を運ぶ者は、その衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。15:10 Whoever touches anything that was under him shall be unclean until the evening. He who carries those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.
15:11流出ある者が、水で手を洗わずに人に触れるならば、その人は衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。15:11 “‘Whoever he who has the discharge touches, without having rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.
15:12流出ある者が触れた土の器は砕かなければならない。木の器はすべて水で洗わなければならない。15:12 “‘The earthen vessel, which he who has the discharge touches, shall be broken; and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.
15:13流出ある者の流出がやんで清くなるならば、清めのために七日を数え、その衣服を洗い、流れ水に身をすすがなければならない。そうして清くなるであろう。15:13 “‘When he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he shall count to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes; and he shall bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.

15:16人がもし精を漏らすことがあれば、その全身を水にすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。15:16 “‘If any man has an emission of semen, then he shall bathe all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the evening.
15:17すべて精のついた衣服および皮で作った物は水で洗わなければならない。これは夕まで汚れるであろう。15:17 Every garment, and every skin, whereon the semen is, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the evening.
15:18男がもし女と寝て精を漏らすことがあれば、彼らは共に水に身をすすがなければならない。彼らは夕まで汚れるであろう。15:18 If a man lies with a woman and there is an emission of semen, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the evening.

I am Yahweh.
22:4アロンの子孫のうち、だれでも、らい病の者、また流出ある者は清くなるまで、聖なる物を食べてはならない。また、すべて死体によって汚れた物に触れた者、精を漏らした者、22:4 “‘Whoever of the seed of Aaron is a leper or has an issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he is clean. Whoever touches anything that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goes from him;
22:5または、すべて人を汚す這うものに触れた者、または、どのような汚れにせよ、人を汚れさせる人に触れた者、22:5 or whoever touches any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatever uncleanness he has;

22:19あなたがたの受け入れられるように牛、羊、あるいはやぎの雄の全きものをささげなければならない。22:19 that you may be accepted, you shall offer a male without blemish, of the bulls, of the sheep, or of the goats.
22:20すべてきずのあるものはささげてはならない。それはあなたがたのために、受け入れられないからである。22:20 But whatever has a blemish, that you shall not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.

23:8あなたがたは七日の間、主に火祭をささげなければならない。第七日には、また聖会を開き、どのような労働もしてはならない』」。23:8 But you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh seven days. In the seventh day is a holy convocation: you shall do no regular work.'”

23:13その素祭には油を混ぜた麦粉十分の二エパを用い、これを主にささげて火祭とし、香ばしいかおりとしなければならない。またその灌祭には、ぶどう酒一ヒンの四分の一を用いなければならない。23:13 The meal offering with it shall be two tenth parts of an ephah {1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel} of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire to Yahweh for a pleasant aroma; and the drink offering with it shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin.
23:14あなたがたの神にこの供え物をささげるその日まで、あなたがたはパンも、焼麦も、新穀も食べてはならない。これはあなたがたのすべてのすまいにおいて、代々ながく守るべき定めである。23:14 You shall eat neither bread, nor roasted grain, nor fresh grain, until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God. This is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
23:15また安息日の翌日、すなわち、揺祭の束をささげた日から満七週を数えなければならない。23:15 “‘You shall count from the next day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be completed:
23:16すなわち、第七の安息日の翌日までに、五十日を数えて、新穀の素祭を主にささげなければならない。23:16 even to the next day after the seventh Sabbath you shall number fifty days; and you shall offer a new meal offering to Yahweh.
23:17またあなたがたのすまいから、十分の二エパの麦粉に種を入れて焼いたパン二個を携えてきて揺祭としなければならない。これは初穂として主にささげるものである。23:17 You shall bring out of your habitations two loaves of bread for a wave offering made of two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour. They shall be baked with yeast, for first fruits to Yahweh.

They shall be a burnt offering to Yahweh, with their meal offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Yahweh.
23:19また雄やぎ一頭を罪祭としてささげ、一歳の小羊二頭を酬恩祭の犠牲としてささげなければならない。23:19 You shall offer one male goat for a sin offering, and two male lambs a year old for a sacrifice of peace offerings.

23:22あなたがたの地の穀物を刈り入れるときは、その刈入れにあたって、畑のすみずみまで刈りつくしてはならない。またあなたの穀物の落ち穂を拾ってはならない。貧しい者と寄留者のために、それを残しておかなければならない。わたしはあなたがたの神、主である』」。23:22 “‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap into the corners of your field, neither shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest: you shall leave them for the poor, and for the foreigner. I am Yahweh your God.'”

23:31あなたがたはどのような仕事もしてはならない。これはあなたがたのすべてのすまいにおいて、代々ながく守るべき定めである。23:31 You shall do no kind of work: it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

23:38このほかに主の安息日があり、またほかに、あなたがたのささげ物があり、またほかに、あなたがたのもろもろの誓願の供え物があり、またそのほかに、あなたがたのもろもろの自発の供え物がある。これらは皆あなたがたが主にささげるものである。23:38 besides the Sabbaths of Yahweh, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings, which you give to Yahweh.
23:39あなたがたが、地の産物を集め終ったときは、七月の十五日から七日のあいだ、主の祭を守らなければならない。すなわち、初めの日にも安息をし、八日目にも安息をしなければならない。23:39 “‘So on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruits of the land, you shall keep the feast of Yahweh seven days: on the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest.
23:40初めの日に、美しい木の実と、なつめやしの枝と、茂った木の枝と、谷のはこやなぎの枝を取って、七日の間あなたがたの神、主の前に楽しまなければならない。23:40 You shall take on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before Yahweh your God seven days.

23:44モーセは主の定めの祭をイスラエルの人々に告げた。23:44 Moses declared to the children of Israel the appointed feasts of Yahweh.
24:1主はまたモーセに言われた、24:1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
24:2「イスラエルの人々に命じて、オリブを砕いて採った純粋の油を、ともしびのためにあなたの所へ持ってこさせ、絶えずともしびをともさせなさい。24:2 “Command the children of Israel, that they bring to you pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.

24:13時に主はモーセに言われた、24:13 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
24:14「あの、のろいごとを言った者を宿営の外に引き出し、それを聞いた者に、みな手を彼の頭に置かせ、全会衆に彼を石で撃たせなさい。24:14 “Bring out of the camp him who cursed; and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
24:15あなたはまたイスラエルの人々に言いなさい、『だれでも、その神をのろう者は、その罪を負わなければならない。24:15 You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.
24:16主の名を汚す者は必ず殺されるであろう。全会衆は必ず彼を石で撃たなければならない。他国の者でも、この国に生れた者でも、主の名を汚すときは殺されなければならない。24:16 He who blasphemes the name of Yahweh, he shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him: the foreigner as well as the native-born, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.
24:17だれでも、人を撃ち殺した者は、必ず殺されなければならない。24:17 “‘He who strikes any man mortally shall surely be put to death.
24:18獣を撃ち殺した者は、獣をもってその獣を償わなければならない。24:18 He who strikes an animal mortally shall make it good, life for life.
24:19もし人が隣人に傷を負わせるなら、その人は自分がしたように自分にされなければならない。24:19 If anyone injures his neighbor; as he has done, so shall it be done to him:
24:20すなわち、骨折には骨折、目には目、歯には歯をもって、人に傷を負わせたように、自分にもされなければならない。24:20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he has injured someone, so shall it be done to him.
24:21獣を撃ち殺した者はそれを償い、人を撃ち殺した者は殺されなければならない。24:21 He who kills an animal shall make it good; and he who kills a man shall be put to death.
24:22他国の者にも、この国に生れた者にも、あなたがたは同一のおきてを用いなければならない。わたしはあなたがたの神、主だからである』」。24:22 You shall have one kind of law, for the foreigner as well as the native-born: for I am Yahweh your God.'”
24:23モーセがイスラエルの人々に向かい、「あの、のろいごとを言った者を宿営の外に引き出し、石で撃て」と命じたので、イスラエルの人々は、主がモーセに命じられたようにした。24:23 Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they brought out him who had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones. The children of Israel did as Yahweh commanded Moses.
