| 1:1悪しき者のはかりごとに歩まず、罪びとの道に立たず、あざける者の座にすわらぬ人はさいわいである。 | | 1:1 Blessed is the man who doesn't walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers; |

| 9:10み名を知る者はあなたに寄り頼みます。主よ、あなたを尋ね求める者をあなたは捨てられたことがないからです。 | | 9:10 Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you. |
| 9:11シオンに住まわれる主にむかってほめうたい、そのみわざをもろもろの民のなかに宣べ伝えよ。 | | 9:11 Sing praises to Yahweh, who dwells in Zion, and declare among the people what he has done. |
| 9:12血を流す者にあだを報いられる主は彼らを心にとめ、苦しむ者の叫びをお忘れにならないからです。 | | 9:12 For he who avenges blood remembers them. He doesn't forget the cry of the afflicted. |
| 9:13主よ、わたしをあわれんでください。死の門からわたしを引きあげられる主よ、あだする者のわたしを悩ますのをみそなわしてください。 | | 9:13 Have mercy on me, Yahweh. See my affliction by those who hate me, and lift me up from the gates of death; |
| 9:14そうすれば、わたしはあなたのすべての誉を述べ、シオンの娘の門で、あなたの救を喜ぶことができましょう。 | | 9:14 that I may show forth all your praise. In the gates of the daughter of Zion, I will rejoice in your salvation. |

| 9:18貧しい者は常に忘れられるのではない。苦しむ者の望みはとこしえに滅びるのではない。 | | 9:18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the poor perish forever. |
| 9:19主よ、立ちあがってください。人に勝利を得させず、もろもろの国民に、み前でさばきを受けさせてください。 | | 9:19 Arise, Yahweh! Don't let man prevail. Let the nations be judged in your sight. |

| 10:2悪しき者は高ぶって貧しい者を激しく責めます。どうぞ彼らがその企てたはかりごとにみずから捕えられますように。 | | 10:2 In arrogance, the wicked hunt down the weak. They are caught in the schemes that they devise. |
| 10:3悪しき者は自分の心の願いを誇り、むさぼる者は主をのろい、かつ捨てる。 | | 10:3 For the wicked boasts of his heart's cravings. He blesses the greedy, and condemns Yahweh. |

| 37:8怒りをやめ、憤りを捨てよ。心を悩ますな、これはただ悪を行うに至るのみだ。 | | 37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don't fret, it leads only to evildoing. |
| 37:9悪を行う者は断ち滅ぼされ、主を待ち望む者は国を継ぐからである。 | | 37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for Yahweh shall inherit the land. |
| 37:10悪しき者はただしばらくで、うせ去る。あなたは彼の所をつぶさに尋ねても彼はいない。 | | 37:10 For yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more. Yes, though you look for his place, he isn't there. |

| 37:15しかしそのつるぎはおのが胸を刺し、その弓は折られる。 | | 37:15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart. Their bows shall be broken. |
| 37:16正しい人の持ち物の少ないのは、多くの悪しきの者の豊かなのにまさる。 | | 37:16 Better is a little that the righteous has, than the abundance of many wicked. |
| 37:17悪しき者の腕は折られるが、主は正しい者を助けささえられるからである。 | | 37:17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but Yahweh upholds the righteous. |
| 37:18主は全き者のもろもろの日を知られる。彼らの嗣業はとこしえに続く。 | | 37:18 Yahweh knows the days of the perfect. Their inheritance shall be forever. |
| 37:19彼らは災の時にも恥をこうむらず、ききんの日にも飽き足りる。 | | 37:19 They shall not be disappointed in the time of evil. In the days of famine they shall be satisfied. |
| 37:20しかし、悪しき者は滅び、主の敵は牧場の栄えの枯れるように消え、煙のように消えうせる。 | | 37:20 But the wicked shall perish. The enemies of Yahweh shall be like the beauty of the fields. They will vanish-- vanish like smoke. |
| 37:21悪しき者は物を借りて返すことをしない。しかし正しい人は寛大で、施し与える。 | | 37:21 The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously. |
| 37:22主に祝福された者は国を継ぎ、主にのろわれた者は断ち滅ぼされる。 | | 37:22 For such as are blessed by him shall inherit the land. Those who are cursed by him shall be cut off. |
